Product Description

It is a double salt of potassium sulfate and aluminum sulfate containing crystal water. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. Alum tastes sour and cold; It has antibacterial and astringent effects, can be used as traditional Chinese medicine, and can also be used to prepare aluminum salt, baking powder, paint, tanning materials, clarifying agents, mordants, papermaking, waterproofing agents, etc., and is often used for water purification in daily life. Because long-term consumption of aluminum-containing food additives does great harm to human body, especially to children's growth and intelligence, the state has banned its use in food additives.
